Mr. D. K. Shukla has been a member of our Board of Directors since October 2001. He has a Bachelor’s in Arts and a Master’s in Social Work. He served as a representative for the Life Insurance Corporation of India on our Board until November 11, 2008. He retired as an Executive Director of LIC in February 2003.
During his tenure with LIC, he occupied positions like Regional Manager and was in charge of 3 LIC divisions. Mr. Shukla was re-inducted in the Board with effect from December 21, 2008, as an Independent Director. In addition, Mr. Shukla is a member and Chairman of our Audit Committee, Chairman of Nomination & Remuneration Committee and Chairman of Stakeholders Relationship Committee.
